The Golf Center at Palm Desert has a new name: The First Tee of the Coachella Valley. For years, the Desert Recreation District golf facility has served the needs of valley residents and visitors with options for an affordable golf experience. Now, while continuing to meet the needs of adults in the valley, The First Tee of the Coachella Valley also serves valley youth in a program developing golf skills and life skills based on nine core values.
