Guests can now enjoy three brand new pickleball courts at Emerald Desert RV Resort in Palm Desert.
With construction of three new courts complete, Pickleball has officially arrived at Emerald Desert RV Resort.
“With pickleball’s growing popularity, we thought it only right to create dedicated pickleball courts for our guests,” stated Greg Sidoroff, Vice President of Operations at Sunland RV Resorts. “We’re also excited to soon feature on-site instructions for guests who may be picking up the paddle for the first time or those trying to fine tune their game.”
While pickleball is considered a close relative to tennis, it requires a shorter net and badminton-sized court. Pickleball also utilizes hard paddles and small wiffle balls. A relatively new sport, the first sanctioned tournament, according to the USA Pickleball Association, occurred just four years ago.
